11 Months

Brooke turns 11 months on 30th, but February is short a couple days – so, I guess we shall celebrate today!

Sweet Brooke, my how you are feisty, explorative and determined. You are determined to cause chaos, that is what you are! Just yesterday you knocked over the FULL kitchen garbage, pulled the table cloth off, spilling the girls milk cups everywhere, and ate yet another tissue from Shelby’s bedroom trash can. My goodness you can be mischievious.

And she always thinks it is funny!

However, you are mostly perfect. You sleep 7:00pm – 6:30am every  night. You take an hour nap in the morning and then a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. You have easily weaned yourself from nursing and only require your pacifier and blanket to sleep. I don’t have to rock you or re-plug you. It is AMAZING.

You have recently become fond of the our stairs, which means the baby gate is now up 24/7.

You are jealous of other babies when the visit here, especially if they sit in your high chair.

Eating is coming along slowly. You refuse some of the most delicious table foods, but love bread and turkey. For some odd reason you don’t like CHEESE! How can you be my daughter!? My friend Karen says its because you are the only one who wasn’t born in Wisconsin. Heck you weren’t even made in Wisconsin. Oh please learn to love cheese little Brooke, it is our heritage!!

You love the graham cracker type goldfish but refuse to eat the cheese ones, go figure. Even the cute little baby fish you spit out at me.

Spitting, that’s another topic. Your spitting has slowed down since when you first started eating baby food, however, if you don’t want or like something you still aggressively spit it all over my face. It is rude and nasty! Lol. But I laugh (sometimes).

Your favorite trick is to LAUNCH your sippy cup the second you are done drinking. You have successfully cracked the bottom of one cup already. What 11mo old busts a cup! Golly!

Nonetheless we love you. You crack me up all the time and like to wave bye-bye to us. It is super cute. Other than that, no words or sign of walking yet. Which is fine by me – if you stayed like this forever I’d be happy
