It has been four years exactly since Greg and I attended a Patten Family Reunion. Back then, Morgan was our only little one so life was a lot easier! This was our reunion in Wyoming in 2009!
Little Chad, just 3 years old.
Matthew – these kids couldn’t even walk yet!
Morgan and Chad, Greg and Morgan.
Morgan and me. I wonder where that shirt went I always enjoyed it!
And now, go back to just a week ago and we had a Patten Reunion in Nauvoo, IL. It was camping in cabins, which was good because it was HOT, plus a wedding at the Temple. It was BUSY.
This is the Suburban loaded to the max, which included bedding for 11 people (us and Ken/Amber family)
This is where we stayed. Pretty nice, except for the crazy musty smell in each cabin.
Day in Nauvoo
Brooke was pretty hard the entire time as she had a fever each day we were on vacation.
Chad trying to fit in the brick urn.
Shelby with the twins, Heidi and Audrey.
I spent A LOT of time with this little one on the trip.
Did you know Browning Guns originated in Nauvoo?
Singing/dancing with the Pioneer Players (Missionaries – 3month duration)
Learning about Prairie Diamonds
And our wagon ride through town.
By the time we were ready to go, we were done with camping, heat and chigger bites, we were ready to go home. This sums it up for all of us..
