Today was an interesting day at our house. Being Halloween, I figured I should do something fun with the girls. So fun is what I delivered.
First, the cupcakes. We made Halloween cake mix with homemade frosting. Morgan was excited to share with some of our neighbors.
Next up, the girls being mischievous on the tractor…AGAIN.
After great naps, the girls got to go to the park. Playing, leaves and the lake made their days.
Seeing how we have no leaves in our yard, this is the first time Shelby ever played in them. She loved it.
After tossing our collected rocks (pebbles) into the lake, the girls sat down for a rest.
Finally, after dinner, was the trick or treating. It was great.
Hopefully next year Greg will be home for Halloween. Nevertheless…

I feel your pain of being a single parent on Halloween. My mom is in Europe and my Stepdad is in Florida. I have my two along with my sister to take care of. :)
