When we arrived at my parents house a week ago, my mom pointed out something quite peculiar. She said to me, “Sarah, you know you still say you are going home or glad to be home when you arrive here in Wisconsin?” I guess she is right because we do say that, constantly. I mean, this time as we made the turn off of 43 onto 894, tears swelled in my eyes as it just felt so comforting and normal. We miss Wisconsin, for sure.
The week when the chaos of moving took place, the girls had a blast spending time at my parents house in Wisconsin. I truly do not know what we would do without them. And like always, the girls fell more in love with them and were so sad last night when we arrived to our new house in Bloomington as they could not figure out where Gramma and Grampa were.
After Greg and I finished unpacking the majority of the house, we headed to Wisconsin to get our little pumpkins and spend some time with the extended family.
When we arrived, it was 30 out and when we left, it was 80! Holy cow, no wonder we had so much fun…it wasn’t snowing!
Here are some moments I captured, though many of them I failed to snap pictures at mainly because I am big and crabby nowadays
Lunch at the Great-Grandparents.
I am 34 weeks. Still large and in-charge!
Morgan was the 3rd generation to ride this tricycle.
And a Wisconsin First for all of us – the girls went Swimming on March 17th!
What a joyful time we had. Looking forward to bringing the baby home Memorial Weekend so all can enjoy him/her
