Autumn 2012

This fall was so fun. Leaves, a pumpkin farm, Trick or Treat, Trunk or Treat, and CANDY.

Our Autumn began on the Tuesday before Halloween with Morgan’s Preschool’s outing to Rader Family Farms…

Look at this enormous bouncy thing!

Please note in this picture the gravel was really rocky, mud and I had to push the two girls (Shelby was refusing to walk because of a tractor) PLUS three pumpkins back to my car. I was sweating by the end!Pumpkin Farm

Sweet little piggies!

The next day we had a warm spell swing through Illionis and it was 78! Daddy “raked the yard” with the leaf-blower. Pretty sad, this is all the leaves we got.

The Tuesday before Halloween was Morgan’s Halloween party at school. She was Tinkerbell…so cute!

Morgan’s best friend, Juliette, was SO upset that Morgan was Tinkerbell and she had to be a pirate. Lol. The entire party the poor girl cried about how she wanted to go home and get it. Sad day for Juliette.

Tuesday night after her party was Trunk or Treat at our church. It was fun – but sadly Daddy was not there due to workSad smile

Finally, we made it to Wednesday, which was HALLOWEEN!  The girls and I went to the Halloween Parade at the library, heard some spoookkkeeey books at story-time, came home and made our own open-faced peanut-butter pumpkin sandwiches, had naps and then…it was time for TRICK OR TREAT!

Morgan new EXACTLY what was going to go on on Halloween and Shelby – well Shelby just mimics everything Morgan does so she was equally excited as well.

Sadly again, daddy was not thereSad smile

But it was fun. They did great and Morgan walked for 1.5hrs and got A TON of candy. What a fun time.
