Summer in Illinois is interesting. Sometimes if the wind is out of the North it is glorious and even on a 90 degree day you can keep the windows open. But if the wind is out of the south or west, we are doomed. It gets HOT, crazy hot. So hot we head to the Children’s Museum because we are seriously tired of sweating.
The week before Labor Day Greg went on business to Omaha. Which means we needed something to do. So we went to the Peoria Zoo…which was a fun little zoo but the park we stumbled upon after was the best!
The Zoo had 5 tigers. Crazy. I’ve never seen that many in one place at one time!
This was an old-school playground that brought a lot of adventure for the girls. And me!
And our great Finale of the summer was the LeRoy Fall Festival with our dear friends, the Kennedy’s.
Miss B. being the cranky-monster!
And the last hurrah of the summer…is Morgan learning to Hoop-A-Loop (as she calls it).
That’s it. Summer is done and now, we have preschool, gymnastics, ballet and swimming. Oh the fun. The girls sure lead exciting lives.
And Brooke is busy terrorizing me each moment she gets…
Next up..our trip to WDW!
