The End of Summer

It seems that my blogging has taken a backseat for the past 4 weeks. I apologize but between vacations, gymnastics, dance, preschool, and trying to lose my next 15 pounds, it is BUSY.

But we are back and ready to share with you what we’ve been up to!

Our summer here ended late this year. The first week of October we still had the air conditioning on! But after our trip to Disney (post to come later) it seemed to cool off a ton. Like, snowed one morning type of cooled off.

While the summer was long, it was also glorious. I loved that Morgan and Shelby were such little fish this year. Brooke too loved the outdoors, though she is always a flight risk as she runs away all the time! So they couldn’t play alone outside quite yet. But it was still great.

Here is what we did A LOT this summer. Splash-pad Fun!

And when we were too lazy to drive to the splash-pad, we just chilled in the backyard. A nice place for momma to relax I might add.

This playcube has been more fun than I would have ever imagined!

This little pool was GREAT for the big girls. Hopefully next year we can get a pool pass and not have to fill it up each morning

The girls also quickly learned that Summertime means Popsicle, Ice Cream and Ice Cream Sandwich time!

I love summer. It will be missed dearly so!
