Painting and a Play

This season so far we’ve three, yes THREE, different rounds of the stomach bug come through our house. It always seems to be a combo of all our family members; either some is throwing up, someone is stuck on the pot, and someone is nauseous. Regardless, all 5 of us always get some variation of it!

On this particular day right before Thanksgiving, I was in my second round of stomach bug. And it was yucky. So to kill time while we stayed home all day, we painted!!!

The girls REALLY love painting – and I love letting them do it! I’d much rather have them paint than use playdough. Playdough makes SUCH a mess on the floor, socks and pants. Uck.

When painting this particular day, I got really crafty and made Turkey Feet with them. Luckily I was to exhausted from being ill that the process was calm and carefreeWinking smile

A special part of November at Morgan’s preschool is the Fall Play. Morgan and her classmates practiced for weeks their part in the play. They also made these cute hats and wore them throughout it.

Soon enough November was over, Thanksgiving had ended, and my 30th bday was on the horizon. Oh boy!
