26….15….14…..

Woweee!  This week was my off week, but it was an extremely busy one, to say the least.  Seeing how I had done ZERO Christmas shopping as of Monday and now I’m finished, you can see that we kept busy.

Thursday was my 26th birthday.  Yes, I am 26 now and for those who say, “That’s all”, I applaud you.  And for those who say, “Wow..”, I am turning my cheek right now.

My birthday was pretty low key.  My mom and I went to lunch with Morgan, which was a delight.  I got a nifty gift from my good friend Karen….none other than my favorite game in the WORLD!!!!  RUMMY ROYAL!  What a great and thoughtful friend, that’s for sure.  And I topped the night off watching the new Harry Potter movie.

On Friday night, Greg and I went to the production of A Christmas Carol down at the Pabst Theater.  That was his gift to me, which I absolutely loved!  Thanks Greg.

Tonight, we had my family get-together at my parents house.  Yes… all 12 of us (plus 2 kids).  Small family, I know, but I love it!  Here are some shots.

Morgan turned 15 months old (actually tomorrow) this week.  I took her for her checkup on Friday and she was 21.14lbs (35%) and 32inches (93%).  Long and lean…what a cute gal we have.

She has really shown her personality this past month.  Here are some of our favorite things to do:

  • Play with her toys – especially Daddy.
  • Sit on the fireplace hearth (recently).
  • Stroll around the house, following us everywhere.
  • Take a bath.
  • Read a book while being changed.
  • Pretending to go Nun-Night.
  • Dance to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse HOT DOG song
  • Bounce/dance on demand.
  • Talk her own language.
  • Touch her dirty food hands to her hair.
  • Snuggle (if you’re lucky).
  • Squeeze in between my legs and the cupboards while I’m cooking.

Morgan Wrapping Paper Tubes (14mo)

Last but not least, I have grown to 14 weeks pregnant (as of today).  Nausea is pretty much gone, except when my tummy gets empty, and I’m definitely changing.  Pant size is growing larger about every other week.  Hoping on Tuesday I didn’t gain another 4lbs in 5weeks.  Cross your fingers for us!

Other than that, we’re looking forward to a great…yet always busy/hectic….Christmas Eve and Christmas.

CHEERS!
