This past week was exceptionally thrilling with Morgan. She changed so much from Monday to Friday it was out of control. First, she stopped her morning nap (yes, it sucks). Second, she started “trotting” around the house – not a full out run yet. Third, she said her first word – HI. She said it to her friends at church, Jerry Pauls, Greg and I….it was perfect!
This week was also a busy one at home. As you can tell, Morgan definitely keeps us on our toes. Here are her favorite things she does.
Pulling all of Daddy’s black socks out of the drawer.
Helping Mommy vacuum the house….sort of.
Dropping leftover breakfast on the ground while Mommy is in the bathroom….this time I made her pick up the pieces, one by one, before she could go play. She ACTUALLY DID IT! Wow, she is getting so old!
Don’t forget to read your scriptures after breakfast! Morgan actually goes to our bookshelf and grabs this book out every day. It is too cute!
And lets not forget to break for a quick cat-nap. If you tell Morgan to “go nun-night” when there is a pillow nearby, she will do this. Please not the black sock – lol.
Some of Morgan’s favorite daily chores also include:
- Taking the clean dishes out of the dishwasher and handing them to me to put away. Awesome!
- Handing me the clothes from the laundry basket while folding – again Awesome!
- Pass us her blanket and pacifier after her nap is over.
- Fetch us a Tupperware bowl whenever we need it.
She is just so much fun. Cannot wait until she says, “I love you Mommy and Daddy.”
