greatGRANDparents.

The past few days have been some really fun ones at our house. No, we did not visit anywhere special. No, we haven’t remodeled. They have been simple, yet special events that have defined on Wednesday and Thursday events.

On Wednesday, Morgan discovered my baby doll, Katie (known as Baby throughout this post), and has been in love with her ever since. Katie doll was given to me as a child by my Great-Gramma; it is a really special doll.

She hugs her….

Takes care of her…. I even got her to burp her!

And kisses her ohsomuch. It is too cute.

In honor of Katie doll’s rebirth into our lives, my grandparents came over for lunch today. Morgan is so amazing – she only sees them about once a month or so but still, she always has this special love for them. My Gramma walked into the kitchen and Morgan comes around the corner…stares….walks right up to her with her arms up in the air to be picked up. Amazing! Then my Grampa sits down and she crawls into her lap. There is just something about toddlers and Great-Grandparents I guess?!

Here is Great-Grampa …he’ll be 85 this year.

And Great-Gramma…she’s 76 in February.

Gosh do we love them so much:) Even Katie made the picture!
