This past weekend, it was Greg’s weekend with Morgan as I worked all day Saturday and Sunday. For the entire week he talks about how he is looking forward to it. And even though I come to an un-dish-washed, un-laundered house; I am so proud of him and happy he enjoys his Daddy Day-Care Days.
On Saturday, Greg had some really funny stories about Morgan. On Saturday AND Sunday night – I was able to witness them for myself. Here is Morgan’s bedtime ritual….
Morgan is currently playing with her toys and its bedtime…
Me: Morgan, its time to go nun-night. Can you give dadda a kiss goodnight?
Morgan stops playing immediately, walks over to Greg, willingly kisses him on the lips. He puts her down.Me: Morgan, lets go brush your teeth.
Morgan walks in front of me, on her own, and goes into the bathroom and pulls open the toothbrush drawer.
Me: Okay, lets go to bed, lets go nun-night.
Morgan walks in front of me, right into her bedroom and over to the changing table.
AMAZING!
Now….to continue the header of this post. Today, was an oh-so-humbling day for me. Please note this picture in May 2008 – approximately 23 weeks pregnant.
I am disgruntle and yet pleased to say that my large reputation of 50lbs gain and the ability to breed almost 10lb children has forced a sooner than expected expansion in my stomach.
Today, as I was unhappily putting on my maternity pants for the first time this pregnancy, I’ve come to realize that the picture above is not far off from what I look like right now. All I can say is that Greg and I come from large stock – and this is what ya get:)
