11 Months!

My my my, I cannot believe my little baby is 11 months old already. Life has just taken us on a wild ride with this little girl, that is for sure. She is SO energetic. I can hardly get her to sit still (even for this picture).

At 11 Months, Shelby has certainly grown big. I am not sure how much she weighs, but my arm can tell you it is a lot! She is just squeezing into her 12 month clothes and will be in 12-18 month this summer for sure (if summer ever arrives).

Shelby’s daily routine basically consists of the following:

Wakes up at 6:30/7:00am. Has a bottle (she is weaned from the boob) and either goes back to sleep, if it is dark enough outside, or gets up to start her day. Within minutes, she is already getting into trouble.

After breakfast, she spends most of her morning keeping up with her big sister. Sometimes, she gets to play with Morgan’s kitchen without Morgan refusing to share with her.

Shelby takes a nap around 9 for about 1-1.5hrs. Though sometimes she doesn’t get one if we are out and about – which she does fine with. After naptime we have a snack and play some more. Here are some new favorites.

After a fun-filled morning, she has lunch, plays, poops and goes to bed for nap #2. It is great!

Shelby really is a joy to have around. She has never let me snuggle with her, so I am just waiting for the day she tells me she loves me. She does love to give kisses, wave bye-bye and ride in the stroller/car. She does ESPECIALLY well at any store we go to when she rides in the cart. I love it! I can always rely on her to just gaze at the world.
