The day started off great….had plans to go to the zoo…sun was shining…breeze blowing..and then the rest began.
- Got a call back from the UP Payroll and supposedly when an employee switches states it is HIS responsibility to cancel the W4 in the old state. So, we were double taxed this paycheck.
- Found out that we need to get our list of inspection items on the new house to the current seller…didn’t know this and thought it was done automatically.
- Ten minutes from home and my car breaks down with two sleeping kids in the back. Luckily I drive 30MPH all the way home and call the tow truck – but now I have no car.
- Two minutes after the two truck leaves I realize my wallet (which I took out and put in the glove box at the zoo) was STILL in the glove box. Why am I such an idiot.
And thus, just another day of being a single mom.

We must be related. I drove all the way to Marquette yesterday to give Courtney our checkbook. Only to realize, when I got there, that there weren't any checks left in it. I hope things get better soon. Let me know if you need a ride anywhere.
