Finally, I got a new camera. My old camera, which broke the day we left for our family reunion and Greg’s dad’s wedding (grrrr) so I dropped it off at Best Buy where our warranty was. Well, low and behold three weeks later I called to see why I hadn’t received it and they said it was “fixed beyond repair.” Well great…
Lucky for me, the new camera I wanted was on sale for Labor Day. Wahoo! So, I went from this.. ![]()
To This!!!
It is not a DSLR camera, but close enough. It has way more capabilities than my old one and I love it – so far
After figuring out how to use the dang thing…a little, I took my first test run. By all means these are not fancy at all, but better than my old one! I have a lot A LOT of practicing to do with the settings, but I’m learning.
From these chubby cheeks you’d never know she is the pickiest eater known to man kid. Even guilty of picking the mini-M&Ms out of the free cookie at the grocery store and throwing the other stuff on the ground!
Shelby had forgotten to take her pull-up off at naptime…soon enough she was taking it off and streaking through the yard. Ha…too funny.
Our little Coppertone Girl.
Here are the girls “practicing for Preschool.” Morgan is the only one going again this year, but still so sweet.
And alas, last week Wednesday the day had finally arrived. First day of 4k – or Preschool 3 days a week from 830-1115 as I like to call it. haha.
Breakfast of champions, a jimmy donut. Lol.
While Morgan was at school this little one is VERY VERY happy as she gets all the attention, and basically anything she wants!
Relaxing after her first morning of Preschool – 2013. This little lady is such a sweetie; I’m so grateful I don’t have her in full-time kindergarten just quite yet. One more year, and I will savor it all.

Hi to all the Pattens. Congrats on the new camera. Your photos are always delightful. I can;t believe how the girls are growing up. They are awesome! I think having great parents has something to do with it.
Our love to all, Grandma Hood
