She’s Five

Five years ago, this little angel entered the world at roughly 3:00am. She was our first, she was our biggest, and continues to show us her love for others daily.

She was our little one that laid the footwork and paved the way for the others. We had no clue what we were doing when she was born, and that’s probably somewhat true today. But we raised her as we know how---to love. And if you give her love, she will give you kisses and emotion galore until you are blue in the face.

Now-a-days, Morgan has grown into quite the little princess. She is 43lbs (75%) and 44inches (98%). She wears a six 6 in clothes and is a 13 in shoes. Her favorite shows are anything on Disney Junior or Disney Movies…but when not being awarded TV time, she has a major love for the following things:

  • Anything make-believe
  • Dress-up
  • Playing with Shelby
  • Riding her bike/going to the parks
  • Painting, coloring.
  • Dancing (she will start dance this fall)
  • SWIMMING (has been in once a week lessons for almost a year now)

With all the busy body stuff she does all day, its no wonder that she still takes a nap every day. Usually its 1.5hrs, but sometimes it’s a little less or a little more. Just enough to take the edge off and keep her going until bedtime. It is glorious.

Morgan is so great. She is pretty reliable, but at the same time I find that I expect far too much from a 5 year old. I have to remember that she is still a young kiddo, not a teen.

We love you Morgan. You are our first and continue to make us proud every single day. Thank you for being a part of our family. Smooches baby girl.
