For some reason nowadays my blogging time has been put on the top shelf. It is frustrating as I enjoy making entries about our lives as it brings joy and laughter to me when I go back and read what has been written. Perhaps that will be my new years resolution - - - to blog more!
Disney Day 3 is where I left off with our trip. I am hoping to get the entire trip posted this month to be DONE with it! Oye. SO many pictures to edit my goodness.
Anyway. So we woke up bright and early and headed over to the Magic Kingdom on Disney Day 3. There we rode as many rides as we possible had time for. Shelby’s favorite was the teacups (yuck) and Morgan’s was Dumbo.
Greg riding the Teacups.
Waiting to ride Winnie the Pooh
In front of the new Ariel ride.
Brooke riding the Carousel. She was crying here but once it got going she was good
Riding on Big Thunder Mountain. Make note of Shelby’s expression. Lol.
After lunch and a couple of rides, we headed back to the hotel for a quick swim and a much needed nap. The girls all slept from 3-5pm. It was so great how willing they were to rest and great because I’d put them down and then shower in the connecting room (my parents), so I could get ready in peace as well.
After naps and swimming we headed over to the Contemporary hotel for dinner at Chef Mickey’s.
Taking the boat ride from our hotel to the Contemporary. It was great as this is a perk of staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Makes it much more convenient than taking the buses everywhere.
My friend from preschool, Mary, borrowed us these dresses. The girls loved them!
Dinner with our Disney friends
Watching the monorail go by at dinner.
And dancing to after-dinner music.
Finally after dinner, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom again for some nighttime parade fun. It was great.
What a magical time we had at the Magic Kingdom. And as I sit here, watching the snow fall, I dream of when we will get to go again, in the Spring of 2015. Crazy far way but oh so exciting..
