Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day here. Morgan got to play in her pool and with her water table. I cannot help but chuckle at the fact that she is in for a lot when this new baby arrives. I mean, she is pretty much “spoiled” with goodness right now – wouldn’t you agree?
For the rest of the Patten household, we’re just prepping for little Patten #2 – due to arrive one week from today! How exciting.
I went to the doctor yesterday – actually lost 1/2 pound. Not sure how that happened. Perhaps it is because I am basically living on liquid since I am thirsty ALL THE TIME.
As I was laying on the table and my doctor was feeling my belly, he all of a sudden said to me, “Sarah, this is a really big baby.”
Laughing, I couldn’t help but say, “You know, I’ve figured that out by now.” I proceeded to ask him why he says that now? He replied, “Well, you’re 38.5 weeks pregnant and already measuring at 40weeks pregnant………
Interesting…..
Bring on the big baby I guess! Any guesses on the weight? Greg is guessing 9.3lbs and I say 10.6lbs. Remember, Morgan was 9.11lbs.
We’ll keep you posted:)

I can relate! I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead at my last three appointments. I've afraid we might have a big one on our hands too.
Hmmm...weight, was Morgan born ahead, on, or after her due date? Because I'm feeling boy for you, I'm going to go a little bigger than Morgan at 9 lbs 13 oz.
Sarah!!! I can't believe that within a week your little one will be here! Doc's make funny (obvious) remarks sometimes, don't they?!
We will be in the motherland- Utah- for the next week so please text and blog and have Greg FB the news when HE/SHE arrives. I secretly hope its a lil' fella. :)
Oh, and the weight?
9.13.
I say 10 lbs even!!!
I don't know about the weight, but I am predicting early, especially because you lost weight. I've heard that happens when you are close to delivery.
I am guessing 10.4lbs. Jon says 9.9lbs (because it is a standard outboard motor horsepower(nerd)). Good luck!
Michelle
