So……for anyone who read my post about the laptop a few days back, you know we had some major issues connecting to the Internet.
Unfortunately….our little friend
got sick again over the weekend.
Now, I was able to nurse her back to life on Saturday. However, on Sunday night – she took a turn for the worse. Soon enough, I was on the phone with two different Geek Squad Agents – both insane.
So this morning, Morgan and I waited outside of Best Buy at 9:55am, like cows waiting to be fed, as the doors did not open until 10:00am. We were the first ones in line to the Geek Squad and I’m happy to report that they FIXED IT!
I didn’t even have to play the Prego Pitty Card. Why? Because Greg and I are dumb and broke it ourselves and luckily they were able to fix it.
Here was the problem:
The antivirus software we use must have created a pop-up box asking us if we wanted to Block or Allow a program. Obviously, we didn’t read what it was because it said INTERNET EXPLORER as the program to block. Thus, we blocked the Internet every time.
Yes, the worker laughed – as did I. I will not be shameful though as I am SO thrilled it is fixed prior to Thursday.

Maybe you should monitor what Greg is using the internet for. Then your anti-virus software won't have to work so hard.
