And it begins….

This past weekend, we started our Basement Remodel Project for 2010.  The goal is to finish by Christmas.  I have faith in the ole’ Mr. Patten that he will do good:)

Here is what’s happened so far.

Greg started to tear down the paneling and drywall around the window areas because we’re replacing them with Ergo windows which you can escape from.  Upon doing so, he found A TON of mold behind the wall.  Good thing we decided to do this project!

I had to say a temporary goodbye to my favorite flower bed….:(

 

On the north side of the house, we’re only doing the window on the right as a large window because our well line will be in the way of construction otherwise.

     

That’s all I have for now.  The did get the windows in but I haven’t taken any pictures yet (sorry Ken). 

Oh, and to give you a scale for the window size…my dad (above) is 6ft4in.
