For as long as I have know Greg, he has had a stuffy nose. It stinks for him…lol, not like he can smell though…because he is always congested, cannot taste things really, cannot smell things really (only comes in handy when I let one rip) and worse of all, when he gets a head-cold it is twice the pain.
When Greg was about 5 he was diagnosed with horrible asthma. He also began a regiment of weekly allergy shots (steroids) to boost his immune system. However, now that he has grown Greg has not kept up on his allergy issue. Long story short, the only medicine he takes is Advair for his asthma. Silly boy.
About four years ago, Greg had his first nose surgery, removing polyps that build up from crud that doesn’t drain. Two Christmases ago, he had the same thing again. And here we are….two years later and Greg is back to the same old stuffiness again. I have had it by now.
So, I scheduled him an appointment with his doctor, who in turn suggested seeing an allergist.
Greg’s appointment was Monday. I can’t help but chuckle, but there’s nothing like having an allergist telling you that you are “abnormal”. You think at the age of almost 29, Greg would have grown out of some of his allergies that he has had since he was a we little thing. Unfortunately, the allergist confirmed on Monday that this cutie-patutie…. 
is allergic to pretty much everything. 36 things to be precise. Granted, there may be more but that is all he was tested for.

Holy moly. Did they give him better drugs or does he have to be stuffy the rest of his life?
