A very good place to start.
We begin with My Birthday.
My birthday was the 17th. I was expecting a pretty low-key day because Greg was still in Omaha until that night and most of my family worked that day. So, the girls and I got up, got ready and head to my parents just before lunchtime so that I could nap the girls at their house. I hung out there with my Dad, got a Shellac Manicure (awesome) and then had pizza and ice cream cake. It was delightful.

Moving on to the Christmas Festivities.
We begin with Christmas Eve. Let’s just say our holidays are insane. We leave home XMAS Eve at about 8am and return only to sleep for the next to days. Ugh. But it is fun.
First stop, Greg’s mom’s for XMAS Eve with her, her husband Steve and the siblings.
Morgan and Shelby got their very own tree’s courtesy of Greg’s mother.
Greg and Shelby. This is our only family picture that day (see us in the background).

Next up for that afternoon, XMAS Eve at my parent’s house. We had a nice dinner and then opened presents. We have SO much stuff…my goodness.

Finally, Christmas Day!
Shelby was more interested in rolling around the floor.
Morgan, on the other hand, was totally into her presents.
Shelby was initiated into our family and received the infamous youth sunglasses.
Continuing on, we had XMAS Day breakfast at Greg’s dad’s, then went to my grandparents for dinner. It was a long, long, long day but well worth it.
