It’s hot here.
For all of those we left in Wisconsin…the heat you’ve had the past few days – just imagine it hotter and you’ll have Missouri. I am not exaggerating here. When Morgan and I sit on the front porch, in the shade, after we get the mail, we start sweating. The humidity is almost 100% and the rain forecast is zero. Sweet.
What do you do when it is hot out? Well, first of all Mom is the one who gets to push these two little cuties to the park at 9am (before it gets sweltering).
Look at them sweat!
When we got home (at 10:30am) we played in the pool, because the heat index was close to 95 by then so why not!
Then the girls had baths because we pretty much were not going to go outside the rest of the day. They are cute those two…
We took the girls to the local custard stand for a cool treat after super. Shelby was obsessed with my raspberry shake while Morgan pleasantly enjoyed her vanilla in a dish.
Soon enough it was bedtime. Shelby was try to hide from me so she didn’t have to go nun-night. Too cute.
….is it winter yet!?

What a great mom you are. Looks like you are taking that heat well!
My sister lived in "Misery" for a few years and I heard how terrible the heat got. I'm glad you're still having fun in it.
