Dirty Bird

As I sat on the couch last night, looked over into those big blue eyes, I said to Greg, “Gosh, I actually feel like you are an adult now.”  Why?….may you ask….well, because on November 25th he turned

30!!!

That’s right, my sweet little boy turned 30 the day after Thanksgiving. It was perfect timing as we were home in Wisconsin with our family that week so we got to see all of our family and friends to celebrate!

This is how Greg’s special birthday went.

1.  Got up and got his much needed hair cut.

2.  Present time!

3. For lunch, the girls and I surprised him by taking him to Miller Park.  There, they have a TGI Fridays inside the stadium so you can go in, look around and shop too if you want.

4.  After much needed naps for all four of us, I left the kiddos with my parents and headed over to one of our best couple of friends’ house, Jon and Michelle.  From there, we took Greg for his dinner surprise at Joey Buona’s Pizzeria Grill in downtown.

When they sat us down, we were at a very large table. Soon enough, Greg figured out that there would end up being 20 of our greatest friends there for dinner. And to top it off, his oldest brother Ken flew in by surprise as well.

We enjoyed wonderful food, wonderful company and delicious dessert, which of course was followed by an awesome rendition of Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby. We love you so much. So glad you are in my life.
