Peter.

Two days ago, I took the girls for our weekly shopping trip to WalMart (I know, sounds exciting doesn’t it). There is not much to do down here so when we go out, we go out big!

Anyway, we got out of the car and the normal ritual is I hold Shelby’s hand on one side and Morgan holds Shelby’s hand on the other side. Before we started walking, I told Morgan, “Grab onto Shelby’s hand please.” She replied, “No, I’m going to hold your hand.” I didn’t have a problem with it, so away we went.

As we continued to walk towards the store, Morgan began to talk to Peter. I asked who she was talking to and she said she was holding Peter’s hand. She continued to guide him until we got in the store.

When we got to our cart, I put Shelby in the front seat and told Morgan to walk. She said, “Yes, I’ll walk with Peter.” (right now I’m thinking to myself Oh Boy…)

As we grazed the produce area, I couldn’t stop chuckling at her involvement with Peter and showing him all she was seeing. As we turned down the bread aisle, I told her that Peter was only on TV and was just something we watch.  Only to have her exclaim “MOM, LOOK!” when she saw this…

Great…now what do I do. I just laughed and said, “Yes, that is Peter Pan honey.”

As we continued walking she got stuck between the cart and the aisle of food and exclaimed, “Oh no I cannot fit!  AW COCONUTS!”

I guess we’ll have to say goodbye to Jake and the Neverland Pirates for a while, though it is cute to see the girls pretend. Just the other day Shelby shouted AHOY at me.  Too funnySmile

Matt loves that show too. Manny a time he has quoted lines to me like your girls. We are now into the Little Einsteins, I think they would like that one too.

Morgan LOVES Little Einsteins. We all sing the opening some constantly. My goodness Disney can suck you in!
