I hate mornings that go from great to craptacular in 60 seconds. Today, was one of those days. I lost my patience, I was no longer cool, and you know what the funny part was? No matter how loud or how many times I hollered “Get Your Shoes On and Go Potty Let’s GO!” they both just stared blankly at me like they didn’t know what was going on. Chances are, they didn’t and for that, I am a horse’s behind.
After the blow-up this morning, we went to the Amish store to purchase some decorate jimmie’s (quins) to put on cupcakes for daddy and played at the park. The fresh air was just what we all needed because soon enough, we were all back to normal.
Until this….
I don’t know what I am going to do with this girl; she is trouble all over. But, I didn’t yell or even raise my voice. I just laughed, told her we don’t eat markers (like I haven’t said that before) and was on my merry way to get a wipe.
Just before the mac n’ cheese was ready, I went to find the girls and this is what I found.
Morgan was reading to Shelby – so sweet. When asked them if they wanted to eat Morgan replied, “No mommy, not quite yet, we are reading.” And that is why I am proud to be there mom.

I love hearing about your daily activities and seeing the photos. We love those girls and their parents also.
Big hugs from Grandma and Grandpa Hood.
