Family Time

This week has really be a whirl-wind. I cannot believe that Brooke has only been here for 6 days. It seems a lot longer than that, honestly.

When we arrived home from the hospital this past Sunday, we were greeted by my parents, plus Bonnie (Greg’s sister), Rob, Matthew (3) and Seth (6 months). It was quite nice. Greg’s family had to leave to go home, but we got a fun picture of the kids, who absolutely adore playing together.

Shelby has had the most interesting time adjusting to Brooke. Not that she is resentful of her, but moreso because she is OBSESSED with her. She is quite the concerned kiddo and is equally concerned when I leave the room. She wants to be by me 24/7 and cries when she does not get her way. Waiting for this to pass…that’s for sure.

She is a little watchful angel and loves her little sister.

As for me, I am enjoying being a mom of three. It still seems weird that I have three. But I love our little Brooke. She is too cute.

Before my parents left on Monday, we got a few shots of the Grandparents and their Girls. It was sweet.

I am grateful for family coming to visit and I am super grateful for the happy, healthy baby we have to share with the world. We are truly blessed.
