17 Months

I was thinking the other day…(yes I do that every once and a while)…I was wondering when I will stop doing a monthly post on Morgan.  I realized, sadly enough, it will be when the new bambino arrives.  Sorry Morgan – times are gonna get tough!

So, Morgan turned 17 Months Old yesterday.  It is so hard to believe how much she has grown.  She DEFINITELY is a crazy combo personality of Greg and I.  She has my sweetness, but Greg’s impatience.  And heaven’s forbid you have your hand sitting on her tray during dinner.  She’ll kick it off.  Wow….sassy gal.

She is good….But she has some naughty habits she’s developed, like:

Putting items in the diaper champ – which she knows how to work – and me never seeing them again.  Now I look through the bag before I tie it off; sick I know but it is just peepee diapers.

Unrolls the toilet paper when I’m not looking…and quickly I might add!

Brushing her teeth, constantly, with anyone’s toothbrush.
 
All in all she is a fun little kid though.  She is sooooo close to being able to stab her food on her own, she just needs some elbow grease behind it.  She can feed herself with the fork – which at times makes dinner time more exhausting for me but it is worth it.

She really likes wearing shoes; oh AND taking them off, plus her socks, during EVERY car ride no matter what the distance.  At least she has calmed down her habit of throwing anything and everything down the clothes-chute.  She has, however, learned to open the bathroom door.  Remember that if you come to visit.

She is getting more vocal. Says about 10 words now pretty clear.  We’re working on it:)  Likes to color, but would rather take the crayons in and out of the box just the same. 

Loves the bath, milk, burping and loving all her dolls and stuffed animals, and running all over the house.  Golly, what was life like before her?  Don’t get me wrong, I can remember 100% what it was like, I just don’t wish it to be that way:)
