For those of you who may not know, we love the Brewers. In Wisconsin, you basically love the Brewers or the Packers, regardless of their reputation or current national ranking. As for the Bucks, most people around here don’t care about them too much. Greg and I were just saying the other day how he’d only been to two games his entire life and I’d been to like four. Hilarious.
On Tuesday night, we had our annual Awesome Seats Brewers game that we go to. Usually the first/second week in May, they have a 5-county deal throughout the week where all tickets are half-price. I bought our tickets a few months back and excitingly purchased tickets in the 8th row, almost behind the Brewers Dugout.
The game was SOOOooo much fun; even though they lost. Oh well. Here are some quick pics. Mind you, we always sit on the Brewers side because:
- They usually don’t make it past second for hitting purposes.
- Most bad calls are made at first base.
- Corey Hart plays Right Field and I get to watch him run in and out each inning.
Highlight of the Night
When Greg and I were walking into the ballpark, a middle-aged security man was waiting to check through purses with his little wand thingy. Neither Greg, nor I, had any carry-ins, not even my purse, as I hate having to sit with junk and put it under my seat.
Just as I approached the security pre-screen area, the man looks at me as if he was searching for a purse, and then all of a sudden he pointed his wand thingy at my stomach! Like I was trying to sneak something it! I looked at him and said, “Sorry, all baby here.” He looked as if I startled him and was like, “Oh oh…I’m sorry.”
Nice.
I love being an elephant.
