Time has flown by since Shelby turned 9 months. And to think…I am almost a week late on posting this as well (totally not my style). Nonetheless, here it is!
Shelby turned 10 Months on Sunday. Unfortunately I was in Missouri at that time; however, my mom captured her in action for me.
Shelby is a funny, loud, hungry little girl. She greatly enjoys eating whatever she can, pretty much any time of the day. She plays hard so she needs to eat, right? She is now on half boob, half whole milk. I nurse her in the morning and before bed. She really is growing up and I know, like with Morgan, weaning her won’t be a problem as she enjoys biting me often!
Her inquisitive antics definitely come from Greg. My goodness leave the sign alone child!
She naps twice a day still, however, if we are out and about she does great staying awake and hardly ever gets crabby. Then, when she finally gets her lunch and nap, she’ll sleep 3-4 hours. It is pretty swell if you ask me!
One tricky thing about this girl is when I’m in the same house as her, she LOVES her momma. She always wants to be with/by me. She does play with Morgan, but whenever she gets bored or beat up she will come hunt me down.
Shelby is a really funny little girl. Strike that – big little girl. She is already filling out her 12 month clothes. If it doesn’t get to be summer here soon we’re going to have to go shopping for some new ones! I HATE WINTER!
I am still waiting for this little girl to snuggle with me. Just once, I’d like her to lay her head on my shoulder and cuddle. Luckily, I have Morgan for that I guess.
Also, she is fully scaling all of the furniture, fireplace, beds, you name it! May she walk before one
