Oh my oh my have I become one of those pathetic bloggers in the past month. I do have a good excuse though; moving, working, meeting with inspectors/realtors, going to Missouri. The reason I haven’t had time to write is because usually each night it is a deal with the devil: shall I blog or go to bed. Tonight, the blog won.
So, here is what’s happened in the past week.
Our quaint little house in the Town of Lisbon is just about ready to be put on the market. I will let everyone know the link once she’s ready to go. Here is a sneak peak at the cleanliness and perfection I had to obtain for the photographer that came today.
Saturday morning I woke at 3am to get ready and head to the airport so I could fly to my sweet man in Missouri. Boy did I miss him!
We had a great time together. It was so much fun to drive around and look at houses…but the decision making was not so much fun. However, in the end we found something we liked and put an offer in on this puppy…
New construction. 3bed/2bath ranch, exposed basement on north end, oversized garage for Greg’s truck and the best part…3 acres
It has great Whirlpool appliances and a fun little breakfast bar. Plus a sliding back door and finally…A PANTRY!
The living room is very large as are the bedrooms.
And finally, a master bathroom with TWO sinks!
So like I said, we put an offer in and got a counter offer. Just waiting to hear on the appraisals for our house here and we should be good to go! Cross your fingers!
While I visited Greg, he showed me around his very neat new office. I think he is really enjoying being the boss
While I was hanging out in Missouri, Shelby had a little milestone - - She turned 10 months! I was so sad to miss it; I will be blogging later on her 10 month status.
And lastly, yesterday we had Easter at Greg’s mom’s house. Greg wasn’t there which is always sad for me, Morgan had fun but Shelby wouldn’t let me out of her sight. Guess she missed her momma! (Yes.)
Well, that just about wraps it up. I must say, if I come out of this relocation process still sane I am going to have to do something major to rejoice!
