A New Year with Big Changes.

This past year was pretty crazy in our opinion.  We sold a home, bought a home, moved to Missouri and learned that the biggest spiders will kill you and ticks are still the enemy.

One of the neatest things about moving to Missouri, though, is definitely the weather. One day is rain, next day is 50 and sunny, then the next day it’s snowing and today, it’s 30 outside. It is pretty hectic. They always tell us down here if you, “Don’t like the weather, stick around, it will change.” It is incredibly true.

Like on New Year’s Eve.  Seeing how we have no babysitter, no family, and not many friends down here (our party friends were in Mexico), we spent NYE with the kiddos and at home, SOLO. Not something we enjoy doing, but we really had no choice. There is one flip side to our NYE festivities…

WE WENT TO THE PARK!

It was 57 and sunny outside, so we packed up the kiddos and did something neither Greg, nor I, had ever done on any NYE in WI. It was fun and quite mind boggling as Greg didn’t even wear a jacket!  The kids, of course, were in heaven.

And now, for our BIG SURPRISES for 2012.

CHANGE #1

A few weeks back Greg received a promotion and now, we are moving to Bloomington, IL.  It will hopefully happen soon as I am due late April.  Coolest part is that is only 250 miles south of our friends and family in WI. Amen.

CHANGE #2

We’re having our third baby in less than four months. That’s three kids, ages 3 1/2 and under, all at once. Pretty insane, but super exciting. Ask me in 6 months and I’m sure I’ll be singing a different tune.

Well, that’s all for our changes. Not that thrilling, but thrilling for us. May 2012 continue to bless us!

Twins or GTFO.

Then we can talk about the fine line between exciting or insanity.
