There is no denying that I am a klutz. Those traits must be genetic as Shelby has followed my footsteps pretty much since birth. Basically since she began walking, she has fallen and injured herself more times than Morgan ever has. Poor kid, what is going to happen when she plays sports!
Our most recent injury occurred last Thursday when we were walking to the car after grocery shopping. We were all just fine and dandy, Morgan walking and holding the cart on one side, Shelby doing the same on the other. All of a sudden Shelby looked right, tripped on her feet and next thing I knew she was spinning around, on the ground screaming.
Embarrassed, I picked her up and carried her to the car (while pushing the cart that had all our food plus Brooke in it and Morgan holding onto it). An innocent bystander (about 70yrs old) and his wife took pitty and pushed my cart to the car for me as by now, Shelby’s face was bleeding quite heavily.
Will I ever really know what happened? I think she hit her face on the cart. All I know is that she tore the little tissue that attaches your lip to your gum line and her nose was bleeding. Ugh.
What a trooper

Looks so painful, poor baby. What a trooper. Hope it heals fast!
OUCH! hope she's feeling better.
I just hope one day I can help out a desperate mom at the end of her rope. Thank goodness for good people in the world. Shelby will be one tough girl after all this.
