Summer Lovin

Living in Bloomington, IL has turned out to be quite nice so far. The weather is just a wee bit warmer than Wisconsin is, but not as hot as Missouri. It is nice for the most part.

This weekend was going to be a hot one, so Greg and I knew going into it that we were going to set up the girls new pool for their, and our, enjoyment.

We filled her up early, but it still needed 3 buckets of hot water to convince the girls to stay in for longer than 2 minutes. As soon as the temperature was just right, they were hooked.

Being a fish my who life, as well as captain of the swim team my junior and senior years, swimming is super important to me. I hope the girls follow in my footsteps.

Until then, they get popsicles just for being cute.

While the girls swam from 3:30-5:30, I continued providing the highest quality rehab service to Mr. Greg via fudgesicles (for his tonsillectomy last Monday). And just so you all know. I asked Greg Sunday a very important questions: Knowing now what a tonsillectomy feels like and all it entails as an adult, would you have agreed to this surgery?  He quickly replied:  NO!

And for our little Brooke, she just relaxed inside and took a little nap. She sure is a cute thing, that is for sureWinking smile

Sounds like you got it made! 2 hours in the pool? Way worth the effort! Brooke is ADORABLE, and she sports those monkey pj's like a pro. Who does she get that from??

Thanks for sharing your delightful family. What a trio of beautiful girls who have great parents. Glad Greg is doing better. I can tell he has had a first class nurse. Love to all. Grandma Hood
