Should Have Stayed in Bed.

Have you ever had those days where you knew you should have stayed in bed, just a few minutes longer?  Well, today was one of those days.  Here is the recap:

7:00am – Morgan wakes me up via monitor with loud, high pitch screeches.  No…not crying or sad….just annoying screeches.  She does it 4 times, I get out of bed, walk in her room and say, “Morgan, we do not scream and we do not wake up in the morning screaming.”  I made her lay there for 10 minutes as punishment. She was completely silent.

7:30am – For the 5th day in a row Morgan eats about 10% of her breakfast and only wants her milk.  Oye.

8:00am – Leave for the dentist – need I say more?  I will….at the dentist I suffer from like 10 hot-flashes.  Seriously, I’m having a boy I swear it.  I was so red in the face and I had to apologize to the girl and take off my fleece zip-up.  100% embarrassing, to say the least.

9:45am – Stop at the grocery to get the cubed containers of cookies n cream ice cream for an ice cream cake I have to make.  They were OUT!….um….are you serious?  I know my cake will be doomed for sure.

10:30am – Morgan and I walk around the neighborhood and have a lesson, about every 5 minutes, about hand-holding.

12:00pm – Lunchtime.  When my mom used to complain about how her kitchen was like running a restaurant, I never knew what she meant….until I had a kid.

1:00pm – Naptime. Amen.

1:30pm – Bill time.  Dang-it.  Go to pay my stupid Time Warner Bill online and all of a sudden I realize I didn’t pay for the month of February!!!!! WHATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

In 4 years, I’ve never….ever missed a bill.  What is happening to me?  I call a service rep and he helps me out by dropping the $7.00 administration fee I caused myself to receive.  Nice guy.

1:40pm – CRAP!  The ice cream is thawing in the fridge and the chicken I cooked an hour ago is sitting on the counter.

1:45pm – Attempt to make ice cream cake.  It sucks – sorry Pam.

2:00pm – Wish I could just take a nap.

2:30 – A visitor stops by, whom I didn’t know was stopping, and we chatted a bit….however….it woke up Morgan.

2:42pm – Dang.

Sorry!!! Good luck with Morgan. You know the terrible two's really start at 18 months! Rachael was a completely different girl. Just remember it doesn't last long!!!
