Double Trouble

Today was a fun-filled day.  At the last moment, Greg’s sister Bonnie needed a sitter for my nephew, Matthew.  I of course accepted happily….I love playing with this little guy.  Who am I kidding – Morgan loves playing with him even more!

Matt is only three weeks older than Morgan, so it is seriously like watching twins.  It was so interesting to watch them interact.  Of course, Morgan showed Matt her favorite hiding spot – which they played in for about a half an hour.

Matthew was really sweet and funny.

Especially when he got stuck in the shopping cart somehow.  I don’t know how he climbed in without it flipping over.  What a little monkey!

At one point, Morgan was sitting on the couch watching Mickey Mouse with Matt while I was getting lunch ready.  I peeked around the corner to check on them and the next thing I see is Morgan gently touching his leg, then leaning down to his knee and giving him a sweet kiss.  I could not believe it – of course I missed the picture perfect moment, but I had to tell the cute story.

To top off the morning, I ran them like crazy to ensure a nice nap.  It was really fun for them (not so much me as I lugged the wagon, filled with 50lbs worth of kids in it as well as my large 30lb excess butt up the hill).

Oh what a delightful day!
