Today was a good day.

Today was a good day.  This post is entirely random so good luck.

Today was fun.  Greg’s older brother flew in for the weekend from Seattle.  Though he wasn’t entirely accepted by my coveting daughter, Morgan, he definitely grew on her by the time he had to head to Greg’s dad’s for the night.

While the boys went golfing, the girls and I went for a makeshift wagon ride – compliments of Greg’s creativity.

While out on our walk, I found the girls a present….

Good thing Ken is here because how would have Greg gotten this home for the girls?
Toy Thing

I had been searching for a play-gym-thing on Craigslist for quite some time but never bought one.  Good thing because the neighbor a few houses away was selling theirs for $20!  SWEET!  After a little Palmolive Treatment, it was ready to go.

Morgan had a fun day. She really likes running and looks like a natural star to me.

Since she sweats like her mom, she was grateful to have the pool to take a dip in.
Morgan Swimming (23mo)

And after an insane temper tantrum, she got a bath to calm her down. Look at those tan lines – a girl after my own heart.

Man is she lloooonnngggg.

On a shorter note, Shelby turned 10 weeks old today.  She is still cute, still cat-napping, but goes to bed between 7 and 730 each night. I will take that!

Here is a funny thing about Shelby.  She seriously likes to stand. Usually when she’s fussy, you can stand her up and she gets happy, wobbly and calm. Super weird but again, I’ll take it!

Shelby Standing (2mo)

I’ve been trying not to compare the girls so much so I will compare their clothes.

Which pair do you think belong to Morgan, and which to Shelby?Pants

Give up?  The correct answer is the pants on the LEFT are Morgan’s size 18mo capris and the pants on the RIGHT are Shelby’s 6mo pants.  Isn’t that funny?

To end the day, I have one bit of news to report.  Our grill is out of business.  I busted the handle off the lid.  How sad.

Fear not, the grill lid has been fixed.

And it won't be breaking again anytime soon.
